Only in Los Angeles does the local news “gear up” for extended news coverage all weekend long of a freeway being shut down. How about we shut off the news, get out of the house, and go on a bike ride, take a walk, etc…stop being so damn lazy and dependent on cars. Be adventurous. The local news could donate the cost of this extra coverage to a better cause. That’s all.
